The researcher selected only 40 respondents from the total population and this was based on the recommendations of Amin (2005) who said that the fewer respondent in the qualitative research produces credible and reliable data than many respondents. The researcher collected data from the respondents through having face to face interaction with them about the topic under study which helped to get detailed information about the topic understudy. From the findings, 18 (85.7%) of the respondents strongly agreed that CRE subject teaching methods were deliberate and ensure behavior change of the learner while 3 (14.3%) disagreed. The findings put into record that 18 (85.7%) agreed that teaching method ensure positive behavior change. However, 3 (14.3%) of the respondents disagreed. About 14 (66.7%) of the respondents agreed that lecture method is likely to ensure behavior change of the learner while 5 (23.8%) offered no comment. The Ministry of Education should work together with teachers and parents to revise the syllabus so as to include more contents of students‟ specific sub-topics on positive behavior change. Questionnaires were used to collect data under a case study research design. Qualitative and quantitative means were used to analyze the data. The objectives of the study used were; to assess the causes of child sexual abuse in Secondary Schools, Wakiso District, to determine the effects of child sexual abuse in Secondary Schools and to assess the relationship between child sexual abuse and academic performance in Secondary Schools. To achieve this objective, the study sampled 80 respondents because it is large enough compared to the study population in Secondary Schools that is teachers, health workers, chair persons, parents, plus students in particular were selected, the respondents were selected using random sampling method, it was important because it gave the researcher freedom to select certain respondents with in-depth knowledge regarding the issue under investigation. The findings indicated that there is a strong negative relationship between child abuse and academic performance at regression (r)= -0.702 and at level of significance 0.05, this implies that the higher the cases of child abuse, the higher poor levels academic performance. The community authorities should also consider their needs and put them in consideration, they will have more leverage to push for their demands and have their opinions taken into consideration. As their demands are prioritized, implementing authorities like the government can then be conscious of constructing serious auditing companies to check the issue of funds provided by the government they completely reach the needs of the families.

school environment students’ performance mathematics and secondary schools
This study was about the influence of school environment on students’ performance in mathematics subject in Mukura secondary schools. The study was led by four research objectives which were to examine the influence of cultural backgrounds on students’ performance in mathematics, to identify influence of teacher - students’ relationship on student’s performances in mathematics, determining the nature of school environment where teaching is practiced and to examine influence of school management system on teaching and learning process in mathematics. Relevant literatures were reviewed on theories and findings that emerged from different authors. The study involved 4 secondary schools, 11 mathematics teachers and 65 students and 20 parents. These was obtained through simple random sampling. Four head of school from four schools was purposely selected. Data collection was done by using questionnaires, interviews, focus group discussions, observations and documentary review. The findings indicated the challenges of teaching and learning of mathematics such as poor teaching environment, mathematics departments being not well-managed, inadequate self-practice and students’ poor background in mathematics. The examination's findings shown that the regression model successfully forecasts the variable that was the dependent variable. The regression model's statistical significance was denoted by F=124.231 and P=0.000, both less than 0.05. The disparity between the regression's initial mean square value of 8.607 and the remainder's mean square value of 0.075 served as more evidence for this. Therefore, the researcher recommended teachers to make assessment on the background of their students to decide teaching methods that will help students perform better in mathematics. Moreover, students shall put self-efforts and practice in learning mathematics. Lastly, the researcher recommended future research on individual factors that affects students’ learning of mathematics.
