Kawala Sharon, Dr Ariyo Gracious Kazaara, Dr Arinaitwe Julius
ploughs and soil preparation
In essence, plowing removes the top layer of soil, breaks up clods, and prepares the ground for seeding. This investigation was started to look into how ploughs affect the development of the land. The authors of the study three main goals were to: research the impact of tractor disc agricultural implements on soil mixing; examine the effect of mold board ploughs on soil inversion; and assess the contribution of ox agricultural implements to soil loosening in the Imanyiro sub county Mayuge district. Tractor ploughs release compressed soil downhill to produce pore volume for absorbing water and air, according to 109 (96.5%) of the 113 participants, whereas 4 (3.5%) of them were unsure about the influence. 99 (87.6%) of the participants believed, 6 (5.3%) were unsure, and 8 (7.1%) objected that the soil's mechanical qualities can be changed by disintegrating, vacuum distillation, overturning, and combining the soil layers that properly aerate and oxygenate the soil. As these engines are unaffordable for the bulk of the region covered, the study indicates that the government, through the ministry of agriculture, provide each sub county located in the main farming areas with three vehicles that producers can use to enhance the soil's qualities.

The National Elections Act of 2008 includes provisions to guarantee free and fair elections, but what truly happens all through election stretches of time deviates from those guidelines; intimidation and violence in some areas of Uganda undermine inclusivity; the NEC is believed to lack adequate accountability and total independence from the national government, which detracts from trust; and the legal structure for elections having failed to provide effective oversight. The information was gathered from 211 participants utilizing questionnaires and a limited number of question guidelines as part of the study's research survey. Both selective sampling and simple random sampling were utilized. To examine the results, simple charts, regression analysis, and Pearson's correlation coefficient were used. The results showed a high positive correlation between the dependent variable—democratic election in the Republic of Uganda—and the three independent variables, which were mass indoctrination, electoral legal structure, and elections supervision. The strong high association seen between analysis of relevant that there was a positive and statistically significant (.000) connection between democratic elections and electoral processes. The study came to the overall conclusion that, despite widespread voter misunderstanding of the legal system, the Republic of Uganda's election process result in what are needed free and fair elections. research.miu.ac.ug/publications 347 Metropolitan Journal of Social and Educational Research (MJSER) ISSN 1813-4262 (Print) ISSN 1813-4270 (online) Vol. 2 Issue 2, May - 2023, Pages: 347-372

global warming and climate
The main aim of this study was to find out whether there was a relationship between global warming and climate in Bugiri District; a case study of Bugiri municipality council western division. The research study used a descriptive survey research design to help in gathering information where little knowledge and information would be a known design, it also used simple random and purposive sampling techniques which were used to obtain a sample size of 44 respondents with in Bugiri District. The study sample consisted of 56.8% males and 43.2% females. Questionnaires and interview guides were used to collect data from respondents. The table presents the correlation analysis results of the relationship between global warming and climate, based on a sample size of 44. The Pearson correlation coefficient between global warming and climate is 0.469**. This indicates a positive, moderate correlation between the two variables, with a significance level of p < 0.01. The interpretation of this correlation coefficient is that there is a statistically significant relationship between global warming and climate. As global warming increases, there is a tendency for the climate to change in response. However, it's important to note that correlation does not necessarily imply causation, and further research would be needed to establish a causal relationship between the two variables. It was therefore recommended that opinion leaders should continue with dialogue on global warming solutions which might be a challenging but it is not entirely impossible. Global warming can be stopped when combined efforts are put in. For that, individuals and governments, both have to take steps towards achieving it.

program on community development and educational intervention
The paper looked into "the impact of Universal Secondary Educational initiative on social integration, using Nebbi Municipal as the case study. The direction of the study was as follows: in order to determine how the USE program affects students' educational outcomes, to promote girls' education, and to better understand the challenges associated with implementing the USE program in Nebbi Municipal. Both quantitative and qualitative research techniques were used. A sample of 38 respondents who participated in the survey were selected. Information was gathered via questionnaires. Purposive sampling was used in conjunction with simple random sample to allow the investigator to choose responders from a number of different groups. In accordance with the poll, USE schools continue to have weak educational attainment and a low completion percentage. When compared to their peers attending non-USE institutions, students who struggle to finish perform much worse on standardized tests. Despite the project's dismal employee retention, there are difficulties. On the other hand, the effort, according to the study, has increased dramatically enrolment in USE schools. The standard error met the requirements for statistical significance and, at the 95% percentage level of certainty, was distributed normally because it fell inside the range of the maximum and lowest age. Also, it was found that girls have continued to abandon their education as a result of early pregnancy, early marriages, and other issues. This is a significant setback in terms of accomplishing the sustainable development targets of "Education for all" and research.miu.ac.ug/publications 20 Metropolitan Journal of Social and Educational Research (MJSER) ISSN 1813-4262 (Print) ISSN 1813-4270 (online) Vol. 2 Issue 2, May - 2023, Pages: 20-39 "Gender Equality."
