The p-value (0.037) is less than 0.05 which implies that investment in road transport/infrastructure have a statistical significance on tourism development and thus the null hypothesis is rejected. The R squared value (0.961) is greater than the adjusted R squared value (0.950) because it takes into consideration the degrees of freedom and hence a good fit. Since F-computed (122.701) is greater than F-tabulated (10.01), we reject the null hypothesis and conclude that road transport has a significant relationship on tourism development. This study focused on the effect of government expenditure on road infrastructure (both paved and unpaved) would have on tourism of the country. Uganda's GDP expanded by 5.5% year over year in the second quarter of 2017, up from of the previously reported 4.6% development. With the help of forest management, agriculture, and fishing, it has had its best population increase since the third quarter of 2015. The study's goal was to determine the importance and function of agricultural development in the Kaberamaido district. The majority of farming community, according to the Soroti District Farmers' Association, are created on properties located. They are founded on goals that support the growth of farmers in the region, such as figuring out how agriculture has affected Uganda's economy and figuring out the difficulties facing agriculture development in Kaberamaido. Local leaders made up the biggest proportion of the overall number of responders (31%), followed by technical personnel and farmers (25%), farmers (25%) and LC1 representatives (19%). According to table 3 below, 25% of participants were technical employees, 25% were farmers, and 19% were LC1 chairmanships. Local leaders made up 31% of the participants. Through into the current framework, the administration and quasi organizations should support agricultural development by providing local farmers with technical and financial support. Nantumbwe Maria, Dr Arinaitwe Julius
government policies and practice of journalism
The study's objective was to determine how much more the journalists in Uganda truly helped to the creation of policy. Its purpose was to assess the efficiency of the administration of Uganda's media regulation operation, the degree of awareness creation of those regulations, and the role of the media in the process. 150 individuals who had been deliberately selected from the intended audience were investigated using both research methods and qualitative techniques as part of a case study approach. The bulk of the suggestions were feasible for achieving a variety of goals, but execution funding was limited, they had primarily symbolic value, and the participants' understanding of the issues was inadequate. It was also discovered that the media had minimal impact on how regulations were developed. Based on the research's findings, the administration should educate the general public about the advantages of getting involved with the creation of public policy and media owners should devote more time to this topic in their shows. The study came to the conclusion that media owners that participate in the creation of public policy should receive government benefits.
