Descriptive statistics and inferential analyses using correlation and multiple regression then examined relationships between independent variables relating to program components, implementation quality, and dependent variables concerning business ownership rates, job creation, income levels and perceived impact. From the findings, the correlation coefficient between Entrepreneurship development and Effectiveness of existing youth livelihood programs in Kisoro district was 0.469, which was statistically significant at the 0.05 level (two-tailed). It indicated that as entrepreneurship development increases, the effectiveness of existing youth livelihood programs also increases. The study recommends that youth livelihood programs in Kisoro district should collaborate with local business development service providers to provide tailored training and mentorship to young entrepreneurs.

The study aimed at the relationship between brand awareness and Marketing Performance of Uganda Breweries Limited. Financial reports and quarterly results of Uganda Breweries Limited spanning five years from 2016 to 2021 were analyzed to observe historical trends in key metrics like market share, revenue, and net profit. Changes in these numbers were correlated with fluctuations in the company's annual promotional spending on activities to raise brand awareness over the same period. From the findings, there was a positive relationship between Brand Awareness and Marketing Performance (r=0.201, p<0.05). This suggested that a higher level of brand awareness among consumers leads to a higher level of Marketing Performance. Hence, Marketing Performance was highly attainable where high brand awareness exists. With regard to brand awareness, the study identified that UBL’s brand awareness made the least contribution to its marketing performance compared to the other brand equity dimensions namely brand associations and brand loyalty. This implied that awareness did not contribute much to the Marketing Performance of UBL but it did not mean that it was less important, considering that many respondents showed awareness of UBL brands. This was a serious problem to the company considering that the other two dimensions of brand associations and loyalty were highly reliant on awareness.

Firstly, quantitative secondary data was collected. Financial statements and annual reports for Mukwano Group subsidiaries spanning 2010-2020 were obtained from the Uganda Registration Services Bureau database as done in their analysis of listed Ugandan firms. Key working capital components including inventory, receivables and payables ratios were then be computed using standard formulae. Thereafter, multiple linear regression modeling within SPSS software was performed as employed by Raheman et al. (2010) to gauge associations between the independent working capital variables and dependent profitability metrics incorporating return on assets and operating margin over the period. From the findings, the correlation between Inventory Management and Financial Performance was 0.861. This strong positive correlation suggested that as Inventory Management improves, there was a positive linear relationship with financial performance. The p-value associated with the correlation coefficient was 0.000 (less than 0.01), indicating that the correlation was statistically significant at the 0.01 level. It is therefore strongly recommended that Mukwano Group formulates a centralized working capital management division tasked with establishing robust group-wide policies and strategies. Key recommendations include adopting an integrated Enterprise Resource Planning system linking subsidiaries to enhance collaboration and harmonize payment cycles. Introduction of a factoring program supported by financial institutions can aid cash flows.

The determined sample size for this research was 60 participants. This size was arrived at through a combination of factors, including the size of the target population, the resources available for data collection and analysis, and the need to achieve a balanced representation across different departments. From the findings, the unstandardized beta value of -.523 indicated that for every one-unit increase in absenteeism, there was a predicted decrease of 0.523 units in performance and productivity.
